Ambassador V. Biyagov addressed the 50th Congress of the Christian Union Party

On March 16, at the invitation of the Christian Union Party, the Ambassador of Armenia to the Netherlands Viktor Biyagov participated in the 50th Congress of the party.

During the congress, Ambassador Biyagov delivered remarks in which he appreciated the support of the Christian Union, in particular, for its position on the the importance of the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, unequivocal condemnation of Azerbaijan's aggression against Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, and for constantly raising these issues in the Parliament.

In his remarks, the Ambassador touched upon the regional developments, presented the consequences of the ethnic cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh and the forced displacement of Armenians living there, the threat to Armenian cultural heritage and especially to Christian monuments in Nagorno Karabakh.

The Ambassador underlined Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda, and in that context, presented the "Crossroads of Peace" project, initiated by Armenia, aimed at unblocking regional communications.
